The event will start at 16:00 and end at 20:00.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Contributor Day is an event, usually parallel to a WordCamp, focused on contributing to the WordPress Community in any of its teams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Sign up<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You can sign up to the Contributor Day by updating the &#8220;<em>I\u2019m interested in attending the Contributor Day on Thursday (16:00-20:00)<\/em>&#8221; question in your ticket.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What do I need to bring?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Bring lots of positive energy and your laptop. We won&#8217;t have many power sockets available, so if possible, charge your laptop in advance. We will not serve any food during the Contributor Day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are different ways to contribute, even without having technical experience. All skill levels are welcome!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Contribution Teams<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>There are many <a href=\"https:\/\/make.wordpress.org\/\">teams under WP umbrella<\/a>. In WordCamp Finland 2023 we will have the following teams:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Community<\/strong>: mentoring WordPress meetups.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Documentation<\/strong>:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Updating end user docs for 6.3 release<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Working on end user mobile app docs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Advanced administration<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Photos<\/strong>: photo walk in Tampere with specific topics in mind and adding the photos to the <a href=\"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/photos\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/photos\/\">WordPress Photo Directory<\/a> afterwards.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Polyglots<\/strong>: \n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Quick introduction to translating<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Let&#8217;s translate\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/fi.wordpress.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">fi.wordpress.org<\/a> or you can work on a plugin, theme or project you want to help to translate<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Come join us to the WordPress Finland 2023 Contributor Day that will be held on September 14 at Tampere Talo.
