Everyone uses it but not that many love it. Still, without DNS no one would get anywhere near WordPress. This talk about the Domain Name System will be helpful to anyone who deals with domains and publishing new websites (pointing a domain name to a server using DNS).
The talk will include three sections. The first section is a short introduction on what is DNS, it is followed by tips on best practices with DNS (security, speed, stability, etc.). The last section is about practical tricks on making the management of DNS easier and how to solve specific troublesome situations that you might run into with DNS.
Key takeaways:
A slightly better understanding of the Domain Name System as well as some Tips & Tricks to help people in their everyday work when dealing with DNS. Hopefully, I’ll also be successful in making the DNS seem a little bit less ominous and remind people of some of the best practices regarding DNS management.
